Part of the family

Here's part of our clan saying goodbye. We had a great day of good pizza, playing scrabble and touring our neighborhood.

Visit to South Bend

We traveled to South Bend to visit with Cason and Kaela since they flew into Chicago to be with her parents. We felt so blessed to have been given this opportunity to see them. Do you know who this guy is? I remember when he complained that he couldnt grow a mustache!

"Our Bob Evans" Thanksgiving

And we celebrate another Thanksgiving on the real day with Bob Evans. Catey had to work the night before and the day of Thanksgiving, so we ordered our "feast" from Bob and went to Cory's apt. for our meal. He was a gracious host and of course, we topped it off by going to our movie afterwards.

The "other" table

Here are all our adult children, still eating together and not wanting to sit at the "older" table.

Lewis Thanksgiving

This was the "adult" table for the Lewis Thanksgiving. We all had to laugh because all our kids at the "other" table were all adults except one! We had a wonderful time.

christmas tree!

Since we will be in Utah for Christmas, we got a Christmas tree. A REAL Christmas tree! We threw it in the back of my PT cruiser and brought it home this week, and our landlords gave us a great deal because we bought it from their tree lot. It fits perfectly!

'tis the season.

Cason and I went up to Salt Lake at the fancy Grand America Hotel to enjoy a night out for his Comcast Christmas party. They had a comedian, a U2 tribute band, and great food! I met several of his co-workers and bosses, and of course, Cason danced like a maniac. Here are some pictures.
